Ashvin Senthil Kumaran
President, Driver – Vector One Racing
My name is Ashvin Senthil Kumaran, and I have the privilege of serving as President and one of the drivers for Vector One Racing, Texas A&M University’s student-led Formula 1600 team. Through this role, I’ve been able to combine my passion for motorsports with my background in business while working alongside an incredible group of students who share the same goal.
As President, I help oversee our team’s operations, sponsor relations, and long-term direction while also competing in the Formula 1600 Championship. One of my biggest goals is to create opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience in professional motorsports, whether that’s through engineering, business, marketing, or race operations.
Outside of racing, I’ve had the opportunity to develop experience in finance, professional interviewing, and working with executives. These experiences have helped me grow as a leader, communicator, and teammate.
I’m grateful to be part of a team that represents Texas A&M at the national level, and I’m excited to continue building Vector One Racing into a program that develops talented students while competing at the highest level we can.
Gig ’em, and see you at the track.
